Hobbies

I'm a recent graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena. I'm passionate about teaching and empowering students to master the French language. While I took French in both elementary and high school in Canada, I became fluent in the French language after attending language school in France in 2008. I have since tutored French for high school students in a variety of contexts and I love to empower students to master both conversational French and reading and writing French. In addition to a Bachelors degree in Intercultural Studies & French Language, I have extensive travel and cross-cultural experience in France and French West Africa. I have recently begun to lead French tourism trips for Americans in Paris and the south of France. While I'm easygoing and take a nurturing, encouraging approach to teaching, I also have a high standard of excellence in academics and desire to see students reach their potential. I have a very flexible schedule during the day, afternoon, and evening, and I'm open to meeting students in their homes or in a local coffee shop.
