I earned a master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of California Riverside. Preceding that, I obtained my bachelor's in Biochemistry with a focus on material science at Western Washington University. I tutor a variety of subjects, including advanced Math courses and advanced Science classes. I am also skilled at helping students prepare for tests, including the SAT. I began tutoring high school students while I was in college, and I helped gifted students master their AP and IP classes. I also helped them get an early start on studying for the SAT test. In addition, I helped my fellow college classmates when they were struggling in subjects that came more easily to me. I like to help students learn by tailoring my teaching style to their personal needs and making the learning experience enjoyable. When a tutor makes material fun, understandable, and enjoyable, I believe that is when it is easiest to learn. I have been tutoring for over four years.
