Math has always been a fascinating subject to me. Although I majored in Psychology when I attended Rice University, math has remained an important interest of mine. Ever since I was a child, I took part in competitive mathematics and was a top performer in classes where the subject was such. Because I found such zeal in math, I began tutoring my classmates as early as middle school! In college, I tutored-- and even taught-- in my free time, as well, to high school students. During my career at Deloitte Consulting Firm, I assisted new employees and co-workers with mathematical comprehension.Now, I am preparing to go back to school at Fuller in an attempt to earn a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. Despite my career paths not seeming like those of a true math-buff, I can assure you, my true passion lies there. Given my background in Psychology, I have learned a lot about the process of educating. The human mind is a complex thing, and I understand the way it works. Therefore, I can customize a plan based on each student's needs on a case-by-case basis. Math isn't the only thing I like though. I'm very active in the outdoors. I am also a seasoned traveler, having been to over twenty countries in the past five years alone!
