Experience
The tutoring process involves helping students to find a path to learning that works for them. There are various ways to teach every concept, and different methods work for different people. I have learned to help students through this process by assisting my younger siblings with their studies and through peer tutoring in high school. I am a history enthusiast, and love tutoring all kinds of history subjects. I tutor many subject areas including middle school math, grammar and mechanics, college essays, European history, algebra, SAT and other test preparation, and social studies.I hold a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Davis where I studied history with a medieval and early modern European history emphasis. Now I am working on my master's degree in Library and Information Science from Drexel Online University. When I am not studying or working, I love reading, particularly fiction, watching television, doing origami, playing video games, and meditating.
