Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree in hotel administration from Cornell University. I am now attending the University of California's Rossier School of Education to obtain my master's degree. I began working as a teacher's assistant and tutor upon my graduation from Cornell. I am passionate about languages and I love to help my students find their own love for languages through tutoring. I've worked with students of all ages and abilities, and am happy to work with students ranging from elementary schoolers to adult students. Though my experience is mainly in tutoring English, Spanish, French, and algebra, I am able to tutor students in reading, writing, editing, public speaking, and grammar. I can also help students with advanced language courses like AP Spanish Language, and preparation for the SAT Subject Test in Spanish. I love to assist students in attaining greater fluency in Spanish. I am a supportive, patient tutor and I will try many different approaches until I find the one that works. I enjoy showing my students that they can achieve the ambitious goals they set for themselves, and I take pride in each of their successes. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, hiking, attending plays and concerts, painting, and appreciating the visual arts.
