I am currently a graduate student who is very passionate about learning and passionate about passing that gift of learning to others. I graduated high school in Naperville, IL with a 4.2 GPA, completing various AP courses such as AP European History, American History, Calculus and Psychology. I received all 4s and 5s on those AP tests. Additionally, I received a 31 on the ACT. Because of my experiences in high school I am passionate about tutoring high school students who need a little extra help or need help with ACT or AP testing prep work. Throughout college I have had childcare positions that have required a tutoring element. Through these positions I have gained knowledge in elementary aged tutoring and homework help. I have high expectations for students and have found tremendous results through communicating these expectations to all students. Having a someone who believes they are capable of success is the beginning of academic achievement for all students.

My goal is always to listen to the student and break down where he/she is having trouble. Lack of communication or mis-communication is often the root of academic issues and I strive to mend those breakdowns and restore understanding to each student. I realize every child is unique and take each students' personality into account through the tutoring process.
